Couples in Crisis, Conflict Management, Spiritual and Biblical Growth
706-829-8205

My specialty is working with couples in crisis. Using Scripture as our guide, I help couples rebuild their marriages by teaching effective communication skills, how to restore trust, and what biblical forgiveness truly is—and what it is not. I have additional training in healing after betrayal and am a Certified Gottman Couples Counselor, integrating both evidence-based and biblical principles in my work.

I also work with individuals who feel stagnant in their spiritual lives. Many find themselves caught in the frustrating sin-confess-sin cycle, unable to break free from old patterns. I help individuals discover their identity in Christ and how to draw strength and clarity from God’s Word. As they begin to walk in truth, a new pattern of freedom and transformation emerges.

I hold a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and a Master’s Certification in Biblical Counseling and Life Coaching. I have been married for 38 years, am a mother to six children, and a grandmother to five. With over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, my passion is to teach others how to honor God in their relationships and walk in the fullness of His design for their lives.

With more than 26 years of counseling experience, I am passionate about walking alongside individuals, couples, and families to help them find hope, healing, and renewed strength. For the past three years, I have had the privilege of serving with Renewing Hearts Counseling, after more than two decades counseling privately and in private schools. I specialize in working with teenagers and adults who are seeking to grow in confidence, self-esteem, and self-image. My areas of focus include communication skills, panic disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. I also enjoy providing marriage and relationship counseling, as well as coaching athletes to develop mental toughness and effectively manage competition stress.

My approach blends proven therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with faith-based counseling, integrating biblical truth to foster healing and long-term growth. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can identify the triggers that hold them back and work toward a healthier, more fulfilling quality of life.

For over 30 years, I've had the privilege of serving as an educator in public and private schools, and now as a Christian life coach, my mission is to guide women and children toward the abundant life found in Jesus Christ. My extensive experience, backed by a Master's in Learning Disabilities, allows me to provide targeted support to children facing learning challenges with reading, writing, and math, as well as executive functioning. Because these challenges often impact the entire family, I also help parents on effective strategies to support their children at home.

My passion extends to serving senior citizens, drawing on my own experience to help others navigate the complexities of aging. I offer compassionate support to those grieving a spouse by helping them establish new routines rooted in their faith and assist adult children in setting healthy boundaries while honoring their parents. My educational background includes a BS in Elementary Education from Georgia Southern University and a Master's in Learning Disabilities from Augusta University. I am currently furthering my commitment to serving others by working toward my life coaching certification through Light University.
